Places of interest and historical sites

The town beach is at the bottom of the road and various beach clubs dotted around the bay, which you can walk to or take a short boat trip. Water sports and yoga are also available at the beach clubs.

Kaputas, a beautiful cove down a hundred steps is a 10 minute drive away.

Patara is one of Turkey’s longest sandy beaches. It is a 20 minute drive away.

There are also many historical and UNESCO sites close to Kalkan – Patara, Xanthos, Pinara, Saklikent Gorge, Myra, Demre, Tlos, Kekova and the sunken city of Simena and the nearby Greek Island Kastellorizo are just a few of the days trips you can join.
